If so, ICOM recommends that you read these third-party sites\u2019 privacy policies carefully.<\/p>\n<p><b>WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>ICOM does not collect any data without your knowledge, and only collects data that are strictly necessary to achieving the purpose of the processing, namely aiding and improving the operation and use of the site, and enabling the organisation to operate in accordance with its purpose, as defined in its statutes.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, ICOM collects the following information:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0When you visit the website and use the \u2018ICOMMUNITY\u2019: In general, the user can browse the ICOM site without revealing any personal information. The only information collected by ICOM during general browsing on the site is that sent to the server log (IP\/Internet protocol, domain name, type of browser, operating system, the site you are connected from, the files you download, pages visited, dates and times of these visits, etc.) and any messages or comments that you post online.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0When you request information via our contact form on the site:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0 Your contact details via the form that you complete,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0 Your message.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\n&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0When you apply for membership<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Surname, first name, marital status\/title, sex, date of birth,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Membership number, if applicable,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Most recent place of work, position, business address, email, telephone, fax,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Committee membership,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Home address, email, telephone, fax,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Membership category: individual (voting), institutional (voting), student (non-voting), benefactor (non-voting), honorary (non-voting).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\n&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0When you contribute to ICOM\u2019s website or activities (experts, authors, contributors, graphic designers, translators):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Name and professional contact details,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Position\/profession,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Type of contribution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\n&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0When you submit an application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 CV<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Covering letters, assessment interviews, copy of an identity document and, if necessary, of residence permit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">\n<b>HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED AND TO WHOM IS IT DISCLOSED?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>ICOM may pass on personal data to its partners for the purposes indicated below.<br \/>\nICOM does not pass on your personal data to third parties without your prior authorisation, unless current regulations require such data to be communicated, including upon request from the legal authority in accordance with legislative provisions.<\/p>\n<p>This information will be used by ICOM or its partners for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In response to your requests for information.
